Description of Services:
Develops strong supportive communities that enhance the lives of children, families and adults * offers the following programs and services:
Community action program for children (CAPC): Addresses the health and development of children aged 0 to 6 years who are living in conditions of risk * provides parents with support and information they need to raise their children
Canada prenatal nutrition program (CPNP): Assists pregnant women and new mothers living in conditions of risk * offers food supplements, nutrition information, support, education, referral, and counselling on such lifestyle issues as alcohol use, stress, and family violence
Triple P positive parenting program: Provides easy to use tips and new ideas that will help build confidence and new skills and support the wellbeing of the family
Supervised access program: Provides a safe, neutral and child-focused setting for visits and exchanges between a child and visiting family member, all under the supervision of trained staff
