William Osler Health System - Etobicoke General Hospital - Diagnostic Imaging - Breast Diagnostic Assessment Program (DAP)

Multidisciplinary clinic * rapidly diagnoses breast conditions and supports patients * Osler health care team works with primary care physicians to manage and coordinate care

The DAP consists of:

• Rapid diagnostic phase
• Breast support clinic

Patients in this program have access to a team of Osler radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, and medical and radiation oncologists. A dedicated nurse navigator arranges rapid consultation and treatment if a biopsy is indicated. The nurse navigator also provides education and guides patients through care transitions, while keeping the primary care physician informed of the patient’s progress.
