Description of Services:

Participates in LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) in English, upon assessment by YMCA of Greater Toronto, see separate entry; childminding and transportation assistance available

  • assists with form filling
  • newcomer mental health services, wellness chat and crisis intervention
  • employment counselling
  • supports newcomer tenants in the private rental market
  • workshops and tours
  • seasonal income tax clinic for families with low incomes
