Responsibilities of the Clerk are:

Maintains vital statistics for the municipality
Acts as Commissioner of Oaths
Acts as Chief Returning Officer for Municipal and School Board elections
Signs by-laws, contracts, deeds, transfers, leases and other legal documents on behalf of the Municipality
Maintains the Records Management Program
Acts as Municipal Freedom of Information and Privacy Coordinator for the Corporation
Oversees the municipality's insurance and vehicle licensing and property and risk management programs
