Description of Services:
Friendly Visiting Program
- Provides one to one friendly visiting by trained volunteers who visit weekly to provide companionship and friendship
Telephone Assurance Program
- Offers an ongoing telephone link for social contact and security reasons between a volunteer and a senior citizen
- Volunteers call on a regular basis, either daily or weekly Monday to Friday
Walk A Bit Program
- Provides a volunteer to accompany a senior for a walk on a weekly basis to get out of their home or apartment
